Legendary Nigerian singer and actress Onyeka Onwenu has reportedly passed away at the age of 72.
According to TheNiche, Onwenu collapsed at the birthday party of Mrs. Stella Okoli and was subsequently taken to Reddington Hospital in Lagos, where she was pronounced dead on Tuesday night.
An eyewitness at the party has confirmed the tragic news.
“It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli today (Tuesday, July 30, 2024), and after performing, she slumped.
