Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has been officially sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) by President Bola Tinubu.
The ceremony took place on Monday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Kekere-Ekun’s appointment followed her confirmation by the Senate, which took place last week after a thorough screening process.
President Tinubu had previously appointed her as the acting CJN following the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
