Just In: Kidnappers Strike In Kubwa, Abduct Five, Injure One

Hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers have stormed the Chikakore area of Kubwa, located in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, abducting a man, his wife, son, and two other individuals.

A resident of the community disclosed to our correspondent that the assailants, around 12 am on Monday, attacked the neighborhood.

Armed with AK-47 rifles, they targeted the home of one Adefija Micheal Akinropo, kidnapping him along with his wife, son, and elder brother.

The kidnappers then moved to another building housing a poultry farm, where they abducted another man and injured his wife.

Police officials from the Byazin police station visited the scene, though as of the time of filing this report, the kidnappers had yet to make contact with the victims’ families.

The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, was contacted but was unavailable for a detailed comment.

She promised to call back after reaching her office, though no response had been received by the time of reporting.
