INEC Denies Reports On Resumption of CVR And PVC Replacement

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has clarified that it has not yet set a date for the resumption of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the replacement of lost Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

This clarification came from Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Oyekanmi refuted claims that the CVR and PVC replacement would resume on May 27, calling the report misleading.

He urged the public to disregard the false information and confirmed that no resumption date had been announced by the commission.
