INEC Holds Workshop To Strengthen Servicom Desk Officers’ Skills

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently hosted a two-day workshop focused on the final technical review of the INEC Service Charter, organized by the Servicom Division in Abuja.

The workshop aimed at strengthening the skills of INEC’s Servicom desk officers, a critical role in enhancing the commission’s overall service delivery.

The sessions were designed to equip the officers with the essential skills and best practices required to excel in their roles.

In his address, the Chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee, Prof. Sani Adams, along with the Director of Administration at INEC, Mr. Austin N. Orogbu, emphasized the importance of the workshop’s content.

“It is crucial for the officers to pay close attention to the materials presented, as the workshop is designed to improve the effectiveness of INEC’s Servicom desk officers,” said Prof. Adams.

Mr. Orogbu further added that these skills are necessary to boost service delivery across the commission.

A key session at the workshop was led by Mrs. Ngozi Akinbodewa, Deputy Director and Head of Operations at Servicom, Presidency.

Her presentation on “Charter Presentation, Implementation, and Development” aimed to deepen the officers’ understanding of how to practically apply the Service Charter to drive better outcomes within the organization.
