Tinubu’s Fall: Peter Obi Saddened, Urge Nigerians To Be Compassionate

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians to be on their best behavior and remain focused on matters that could move the country forward rather than make jest of the unfortunate fall of President Tinubu.
He made emphasis on this in a statement posted on his X account.
Peter, while expressing his sympathy for the fall, noted that despite their different party’s disagreed views on how to move the country forward, Nigeria must be reminded of the need for compassion, empathy, and unity.
He wrote: “I was saddened to learn of President Tinubu’s unfortunate fall today. I wish him well. We achieve nothing by gloating about an accident that could well happen to any of us
“We are all human beings and, while we profoundly disagree on how to move Nigeria forward, we must remember our common human frailty.
“Let us stay focused on issues that can lead to a New Nigeria. May this moment serve as a poignant reminder of our shared humanity and the need for compassion, empathy and unity in our pursuit for a brighter future for our great nation.”
