We Are Creating Investment Opportunities To Develop Our State -Gov Mutfwang

The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to running a transparent, accountable, and all-inclusive government, aimed at delivering good governance and quality services to the people.
Mutfwang made this commitment at the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Multi stakeholders Roundtable and Sensitization Workshop, held at the Banquet Hall of the New Government House in Little Rayfield, Jos.
Speaking on the Core Objectives of OGPs in meeting the expectations of citizens through democratic dividends, Governor Mutfwang stressed his campaign’s promise to provide quality governance to citizens of Plateau State.
In Mutfwang words: ” We are actively creating opportunities for investors to participate in the state’s development, ensuring transparency in all transactions. Additionally, we are exploring strategies to leverage our agricultural assets for the benefit of the state.”
Governor Mutfwang said legacy projects such as the Hill Station Hotel, Plateau Hotel, and Jos Abattoir would be revived and reconstructed to improve the standard of living and boost revenue for future economic development.
For the need for transparency and accountability in externally funded developmental projects he inherited, the Plateau State Governor, assured thorough review be conducted to ensure value for money and benefit of people.
Chief Technical Adviser in Development Partnership and Diaspora Engagements to the Governor, Manji Wilson, emphasized the important role of the OGPs in Plateau development.
He commended the Governor’s unwavering advocacy for transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness in his administration.
Gad Shamaki, Executive Director of the CLEEN Foundation while addressing the Participants, praised Plateau State on their commitment to OGPs, and the appointment of innovative youths and women in key roles to drive the agenda of transparency and accountability forward.
Shamaki Applauded Governor Mutfwang’s courageous effort to change the narratives of the state even amid security challenges faced.
