Bauchi State Flooding Pose Threats To Communities And Infrastructure

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reported to the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, about severe flooding that poses a risk of submerging local communities.

This incident follows significant damage to a federal highway linking Kano and Maiduguri, especially between Malori and Guskuri villages in the Katagum Local Government Area.

The flood has created a large crater in the road, diverting motorists to alternative routes. Bauchi, part of the North-East geopolitical zone, has experienced severe flooding over the past weeks, resulting in loss of life and widespread destruction of homes.
