Breaking: MTN Closes All Offices Nationwide for 24 Hours

Telecommunication giant MTN has announced a temporary closure of all its offices and service centers nationwide for 24 hours, effective July 30, 2024.

In a statement on X, MTN urged customers to use its digital support channels during the shutdown.

The company has also shared a detailed guide for subscribers on how to unblock their SIM cards online.

MTN assured customers that regular services would resume after the 24-hour closure.

This announcement follows a recent incident in Festac Town, Lagos, where frustrated subscribers vandalized an MTN office fence in protest against their disconnected telephone lines.
