Breaking: President Tinubu Convenes National Security Council Meeting Amidst Ongoing Nationwide Protests

President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with heads of security and paramilitary agencies at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This session, organized by the National Security Council, comes after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting was rescheduled earlier on Monday.

Attendees include Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, along with other top military and paramilitary officials.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun are also present.

The meeting occurs against the backdrop of widespread protests that have persisted for five days, driven by concerns over hunger and poor governance.
