Hunger Brought Me Out To Protest -FCT Resident

Despite the court’s order prohibiting their activities, demonstrators gathered at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Emmanuel Larry, a local resident interviewed by Channels TV, explained that his desperation due to hunger compelled him to join the protest.

He emphasized that the government must address their grievances, refuting claims that the protests had been canceled.

According to Larry, the protests are scheduled to continue from August 1 to August 10.

“Today is the hunger day, we all promise you that we are going to be the streets of Abuja. Hunger has brought me out, I don’t have money to buy fuel.

“I don’t have money to buy whatever, there is total bad governance. The government has used propaganda and fake news to tell you that the protests have been cancelled” he said.
