Monday Okpebholo Sworn In As Edo State Governor, Succeeding Obaseki

Monday Okpebholo has officially been sworn in as the new governor of Edo State, marking the end of Godwin Obaseki’s eight-year tenure.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the state capital.

Okpebholo’s victory comes after the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured the gubernatorial ticket in the recent elections.

He took the oath of office alongside his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, signaling the beginning of a new administration in the South-South state.
